Why Nel’s Babies & Kiddies?
Nel’s Babies & Kiddies started with one simple desire: A mom who wanted the best for her baby. This is her story:
When I became a mom, I wanted to make sure my son had access to quality baby essentials, products that made life easier for us, and toys that helped him learn, explore and grow.
But I also realised that being a new mom comes with so many questions.
What do I actually need?
Which products are worth buying?
What is safe?
What will make life easier?
And where can I find products that are not only practical, but actually designed with babies and parents in mind?
I started looking for better options.
And eventually, I thought: Why not create the kind of baby brand I wished I had?
That was the beginning of Nel’s Babies & Kiddies.
What started with wanting the best for my own little boy grew into a business built around helping other modern, conscious and intentional parents find quality, innovative and functional products for their babies and children.
From baby essentials to feeding, sleep, maternity and developmental products, my goal has always been the same:
*To make parenting a little easier and give growing families access to products I genuinely believe can make a difference and to do my utmost best to serve these parents who are loyal to my brand*
Nel’s was never just about selling baby products.
It was born out of motherhood.
It was born out of wanting better.
And it was built with the belief that *every baby deserves the best start in life.*
Today, every time I help another parent find something for their baby, I think back to where it all started:
*One parent. One baby. Or lots of babies lol. At a time. And a desire to give them the very best I could.*
Today, we have served hundreds of parents, we have transitioned to an e-com brand, have been featured in all the major news publications, television stations, radio stations and are listed on Takealot South Africa.
